Comedy comes to Bryson City stage

art dixieswimThe comedic play “The Dixie Swim Club” will be performed at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 11-12, 18-19 and 21 and 2:30 p.m. Oct. 13 and 20 at the Smoky Mountain Community Theatre in Bryson City.

 

The story centers on five women who meet once a year for a reunion of their college swim club. Taking place in a beach cottage on the North Carolina coast, these five share the ups-and-downs of their lives over a period of 55 years.

Tickets are $8 for adults, $5 for children ages 5 to 17.
