MacLean to speak on architectural photography

art photogJohn MacLean will be the guest speaker during the Sylva Photo Club’s meeting at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 10, at the Cullowee Methodist Church on the Western Carolina University campus.

MacLean will be discussing techniques of architectural photography along with showing his images. He is a commercial and fine art photographer who specializes in architecture, landscapes and people. His work has appeared in The New York Times, Swatch, Outside Magazine and many others. 

After the speaker, members will submit pictures in the theme of Winter Season. After the formal meeting, there will be a Camera Talk Hour occurs where members and visitors can socialize and talk shop about photography.
