The pod will allow better distribution of fresh food to people facing hunger in Haywood and Jackson county communities.

North Carolina First Lady Kristin Cooper will be at the event to dedicate the pod.

The event will be held at Haywood Christian Ministry at 150 Branner Ave. in Waynesville.
