Author Bart D. Ehrman will read from his latest book, God’s Problem: How the Bible Fails to Answer Our Most Important Question – Why We Suffer, at 3 p.m. on Saturday, April 16, at Blue Ridge Books in Waynesville.

Ehrman is the author of more than 20 books, including three New York Times bestsellers. He is also a professor of religious studies at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, and is a leading authority on the New Testament and the history of early Christianity.
