Kellie Pickler to perform Aug. 18

art picklerKellie Pickler, a small-town North Carolina native who competed on NBC’s American Idol, will perform at the Smoky Mountain Center for the Performing Arts at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 18.

Many recognize Pickler as a sweet, quirky, country girl with a dream to make it big as a country music artist. Her debut album, Small Town Girl, was certified gold with three singles from the album earning spots on the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts.  Some of her hits include, “Red High Heels,” I Wonder,” and “Best Days of Your Life.”
