Bowling alley opens in Sylva

Country Side Bowling Lanes is now open in Sylva. The alley, formerly known as Thunder lanes in the Jackson Plaza, has been closed for a year and is under new management and has undergone renovation.

The new owners have created a family-friendly environment complete with birthday parties, group events, bowling leagues, food and drinks, cosmic bowling on Friday and Saturday nights, and weekday specials. The new bowling alley differs from the old in several ways, but the most notable change is the absence of the bar, a measure that will add to the family-friendly environment.

The new bowling alley is complete with 22 refurbished lanes, arcade games, pool tables and a new snack bar.
