• Go to this year’s OM Competition, held Saturday, March 12 at the Ramsey Regional Activity Center at Western Carolina University.

• Learn more at www.odysseyofthemind.com and in North Carolina, www.ncom.org.

• Form a team of five to seven members and select your problem.

• Register with the National OM organization.

• Once national registration is complete, paperwork, including deadlines, will be forwarded to your regional division. Register with your regional division. In WNC, more information about regional competitions is available by calling the Office for Rural Education at 828.227.7347.

• Participate in judges’ training. Each competing team is required to provide one trained judge and one volunteer for the tournament.
