A new board of directors has been voted in for Canton Papertown Association, which reorganized with new blood and new energy last fall following several years of declining activity and merchant involvement.

The new officers include: James Weatherman with Great Southern Trading Company as chairman; Jack Willis with the Wildwood Apaloosa as vice chair; Pat Owen with Hometrust Bank as treasurer; Ellen Cirino, a Canton resident and dedicated volunteer, as secretary.

Papertown Association will hold its monthly meeting Thursday, March 10, at 109 Main Street. The group was reorganized following the resignation of the former executive director, Gail Guy, who is under investigation by the SBI for missing funds.
