Local restaurants take part in AIDS Project

SMN

The Western North Carolina AIDS Project (WNCAP) will join 21 other cities across the country on Thursday, April 28, for the annual Dining Out for Life benefit.

This year marks the beginning of the national campaign for each city. Local area support for 2005 has been expanded to include more than 60 restaurants in the area, making it even easier for diners to find a location convenient to them. Restaurants in Maggie Valley, Waynes-ville, Arden, Asheville, Black Mountain, Hendersonville, Hot Springs and Weaverville will all band together and donate 20 percent of their gross sales to the Western North Carolina AIDS Project. Local restaurants participating include the Chef’s Table, Lomo Grill and Whitman’s Bakery. Joey’s Pancake House in Maggie Valley will participate on April 30.
