The Haywood County Friends of the Library Book Sale committee is in need of children’s books for the upcoming sale in July.

While any and all books are welcome, children’s books are particularly needed, as 1,000 books were donated to Bethel Christian Academy and Haywood schools after the floods in September 2004.

Books may be taken to the Waynesville branch of the library located downtown. Donations of adult and youth books, fiction and non-fiction, movies, records, CDs, cassettes and books on tape also are accepted.
