The Mountain Sports Festival, May 31 to June 2, will include a range of competitive, recreational and educational outdoor opportunities for outdoors enthusiasts.

The Mountain Sports Festival includes the Biltmore Estate Kiwanis 15K, which attracts runners from around the world. Also included is the Sixth Annual RiverLink Triathlon, a local favorite, which attracts both the hardcore and recreational triathlete.

Numerous other events are shaping up, including a rolling pool at the festival center, a boat symposium at Lake Julian and a disc golf tournament at Richmond Hill Park. There is no fee for spectators and some festival events. Other events/competitions will have a registration fee.
