<< Back 6/5/02 Swain Recreation Dept. plans fishing fund-raiser SMN Fontana Lake Users Association will host a Fishing Tournament June 8 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The event, a fund-raiser to help the Swain County Recreation Department raise money for the renovation of the old Pepsi Building, will begin at the 288 Boat Ramp & Picnic Area in Bryson City. All fish caught will be included. There will be categories for each species of fish caught with awards for winners in each category. Entry fee is $25 per boat.
