° Hermit thrush, black-capped chickadee, brown creeper, golden-crowned kinglet, winter wren, red-breasted nuthatch, common raven, blackburnian warbler, black-throated blue warbler, black-throated green warbler, Canada warbler and common raven along Heintooga Road at milepost 458.2 (Carolina Field Birders field trip 6/22)

° Black-and-white warbler, northern parula, ovenbird, white-breasted nuthatch, chestnut-sided warbler, scarlet tanager, rose-breasted grosbeak, indigo bunting, wood thrush, hermit thrush, hooded warbler, blue-headed vireo, and eastern phobe along the Blue Ridge Parkway between U. S. 74 and Cherokee (Carolina Field Birders field trip 6/22)

° Great blue heron, green heron, killdeer, white-eyed vireo, tree swallow, barn swallow, blue-gray gnatcatcher, common yellowthroat, field sparrow, yellow-breasted chat, blue grosbeak and orchard oriole at Ferguson Fields on Hwy. 19 between Cherokee and Bryson City (Carolina Field Birders field trip 6/22)

° Mourning warbler still being reported from Roan Mountain (6/22, from Carolina birds listserv)

° Worm-eating warbler on the Gregory Bald Trail in GSMNP (6/20, Cathy King & Beth Brinson)
