° Blue grosbeak, willow flycatcher, indigo bunting, yellow warbler, white-eyed vireo, great blue heron, green heron, orchard oriole, barn swallow, northern rough-winged swallow and bobolink, (Ferguson fields 7/19)

° Double-crested cormorant, great blue heron, great egret, green heron, killdeer, ruddy turnstone, mallard, wood duck, black duck, barn swallow, tree swallow, northern rough-wing swallow, cliff swallow, osprey, broad-winged hawk, turkey vulture, black vulture, common yellowthroat, yellow warbler, white-eyed vireo, American goldfinch, blue grosbeak, yellow-billed cuckoo, downy woodpecker and pileated woodpecker (partial list from Carolina Field Birders, 7/27 fieldtrip to Rankin Bottoms WMA, near Newport Tenn.)

° Great egret, osprey, least sandpiper, pectoral sandpiper and spotted sandpiper (Lake Don T. Howell near Charlotte, reported from Carolina Birds listserv)
