Kirksey’s Tips for Wine Buying

• Don’t limit yourself, don’t count out particular regions, don’t be afraid to explore.

• Don’t necessarily look for expensive wines. Just because it costs a lot doesn’t mean you’ll like it.

• Once you find what you like, explore within the varietal.

• Don’t judge a wine by first taste. Some wines are better when paired with food. Look for food friendly wines.

• Drink what you like. Don’t buy wine just because you think you should.
