Non-profit corporation Webster Enterprises is seeking donations from the local community for a fund-raising yard sale.

Webster Enterprises uses work and work-related activities to provide vocational assessments, training, evaluations, and support services to persons with identified disabilities. Webster Enterprises manufactures disposable medical drapes, which are used during surgery either on the patient or the equipment.

When manufacturing demands are strong, Enterprises hires individuals without identified disabilities to serve as model workers for program participants.

The fund-raising yard sale will be held Saturday, Aug. 13. All proceeds will go toward the purchase of new computers and software.

Those who would like to donate either money or items to be sold may call Webster Enterprises at 828.586.8981 from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Items may be dropped off at the plant on Little Savannah Road. Checks made payable to Webster Enterprises may be mailed to P.O. Box 220, Webster, N.C., 28788.
