Harrah’s Cherokee Casino and Hotel has partnered with contemporary art gallery LIFT Culture House to feature new art that will become a part of the hotel’s interior décor.

Five Eastern Band Cherokee women contributed their art works to the hotel, which has added a second tower of accommodations for casino guests. The casino commissioned these artists’ works based on studies submitted for selection. Approved works were turned into limited edition prints for use in the hotel.

The first tower of the hotel already features a variety of Cherokee art including wood sculptures, paintings, mosaics and more, offering guests a dose of culture with their rest and relaxation.

LIFT will feature the hotel’s newest works at an opening reception to be held at 7 p.m. Aug. 19. LIFT is located on the Reservation on Tsali Boulevard.
