The jazz trio Multifarious Jazz Emissaries, who recently performed at The Frog & Owl in Franklin, returns for another performance from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 28.

This jazz trio includes Mike Blackburn ‘tickling the ivories,’ Moffett Morris on acoustic bass, and Jim Bridges ‘brushing‘ on drums. They have played together and accompanied other jazz musicians for more than eight years at a wide variety of festivals, restaurants, clubs, recording sessions, and private events all around North Georgia.

The Frog & Owl is located at 46 East Main Street in downtown Franklin. Dinner hours are 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, and they are open for lunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday. For more information or reservations, contact The Frog & Owl at 828.349.4112.
