Emmylou Harris, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Patty Griffin and Bruce Cockburn will perform an unforgettable evening of acoustic music at the Thomas Wolfe Auditorium on Thursday, Nov. 7. The world acclaimed singer/songwriters are putting a spotlight on the issue of active landmines still buried in war ravaged countries in a Concert for a Landmine Free World.

Founded by Bobby Muller of the Vietnam Veterans of America Foundation (VVAF), the Campaign for a Landmine Free World was organized to operate rehabilitation clinics, raise awareness, and educate the world public on the global landmine problem. Emmylou Harris spearheaded and initiated the series of concerts.
