Dear Teacher: While you may have to double check individual items for ingredients, here are some ideas for products that are generally dairy-free or may have dairy-free options:

• 100% fruit and vegetable juices (low sodium)

• Fruit cups and pouches with no added sugar

• Shelf-stable hummus with whole wheat/whole grain crackers

• Dried fruit like raisins or low sugar craisins

• Nuts and peanuts (lightly salted)

• Popcorn

• Cereals

• Trail-Mix
