Tour nursery that caters to wildlife

Learn about plants that attract birds, butterflies and other wild critters on a field trip to Spring Valley Nursery in Macon County at 5 p.m. Monday, August 15.

Horticulturist and Master Gardener Bill Messina has opened her nursery to the “Gardening for Wildlife Series,” an effort to promote a better understanding and care of wildlife habitats by Friends of the Rickman Store. Meet at Spring Valley Nursery, 57 Sounders Road, Franklin at 5 p.m. 828.349.5201.
