Craft beer and canines in Frog Level

art froglevelA Dogs and Suds fundraiser for Sarge’s Animal Rescue Foundation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday, May 16, at Frog Level Brewing Company in Waynesville.

Live music will be provided by the Celtic Knot Band and Blue Ridge BBQ Company will provide hotdogs. Proceeds will help fund Sarge’s efforts to save as many dogs and cats as possible from the county shelter and place them in foster homes until they can be adopted.

“We hope more people will be able to come this year to support the services that Sarge’s provides. I, for one, can’t say how much I appreciate Annie and Tulsa, my Sarge rescued dogs,” said Clark Williams, owner of FLBC.

Advance tickets can be bought at Sarge’s Adoption Center, Mountain Dreams Realty and Smoky Mountain Dog Bakery. Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door. Ticket purchase is an automatic entry in drawing for $100 gift certificate to the Chef’s Table.

Sponsors for the event are the Blue Ridge BBQ Company, Tourism Development Authority, Smoky Mountain Dog Bakery and Frog Level Brewing Company. or
