Tanner exhibition at Gallery 86

art horseyPainter Kel Tanner will have a solo exhibition from Aug. 7 to Sept. 2 at Haywood County Arts Council’s Gallery 86 in Waynesville. An artist reception will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, Aug. 9, at the gallery.

 

Since 2008, Tanner has entered five competitions and won Best in Show or First Place in four. She paints mostly in oil from live subjects and her own photographs. She has also established a jewelry brand, Only1. 

This project was supported by the N.C. Arts Council, a division of the Department of Cultural Resources.
