The Arts and Cultural Events Performance Series continues with The Strivers Row Poetry Show at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 14, in the Bardo Arts Center at Western Carolina University. The performance poetry collective performed at venues ranging from the Sundance Film Festival to President Obama’s evening of music and poetry at the White House. For the artists involved, poetry is not just a form of entertainment, but also a vehicle for transformation. The show is recommended for individuals age 16 and older. All tickets are $5.
