Waynesville merchants offer discounts for locals

It's February, which means Waynesville merchants are once again offering special discounts for locals the entire month of February. Look for the big red heart at participating downtown businesses.

- The Jeweler’s Workbench - Complementary watch batteries for Love the Locals during the month of February (Limit 2)

- High Country Furniture - 10% off regular priced merchandise

- High Country Style - 10% off for all locals in the month of February.

- The Kitchen Shop - 20% Tuesdays (20% off entire purchase)

- J Gabriel Home and Gifts – 30% off inventory of fine home accessories and gifts.

- Moonlight and Garbo Boutique - 35% off all new inventory.

- T Pennington Art Gallery - Look for red hearts throughout the gallery for special discounts and one-time offers in February

- Smoky Mountain Dog Bakery - 4 N. Main Street, a free, fresh-baked, heart-shaped dog cookie to all locals. No ID required.

- Pleasant Places- 90 N Main St. offering 20% off all bird seed every Saturday in February. There are 5 Saturdays - five chances to save! Now is the time to save on the best- Coles and Song of America.

- Wildflour Blue Bakery - offering 10% off to anyone that states they are local, with the exclusion of custom pre-orders.

- The Haywood County Arts Council will offer chocolate treat bags for “Love the Locals” in February.

- Inspired Art Ministry, First Baptist Church - Offering Gift Certificates for a 6-week term of painting classes. Classes are held every Tuesday at First Baptist Church of Waynesville, 1:00-4:00pm. Value = $65.00

- Blue Ridge Beer Hub will have half-off pints every Wednesday throughout February.
