Celebrate summer with an evening of entertainment that includes a delicious dinner and fabulous production. Dine With Divas drag dinner cabaret is a mouth full of fun and premieres at the Highland Brewing Event Center on July 29.

The evening fundraiser features a pre-show cash bar starting at 6:30 p.m. while your dinner is served. The 60-90-minute drag show production starts at 7 p.m. Dinner packages start at $35. If you’re having a special event you may add $20 for a special “condragulations” shout out during the show and a bottle of champagne. The menu for this production of Dine With Divas includes pork or chicken barbecue with four sauce options, collard greens, jalapeno grits, baked beans and cornbread. Sweet or unsweet tea and lemonade are included as well as a dessert. Alcohol sales are available throughout the evening at the beer, cider and champagne cash bar.

Dine With Divas cabaret production is a delightful new dinner show conceived by Gordon Hensley, a theatre professional with over 20 years of experience performing and producing events. “The production is a little more formal than just a drag show. It is a mix of professional drag performances like lip syncing, dancing, audience interaction, and sometimes even live singing” says Hensley. “Based on which cast you see there may also be a celebrity cameo by drag impersonations of Cher, Madonna, Liza, and more!” Profits from this production benefit Asheville’s Free Farmers Market for the Elderly. The production is made possible by generous sponsorship by Highland Brewing and Blue Ridge Event Staffing.
